Women's Ministry
The purpose of the United Methodist Women
To be a community of women whose purpose is to know God & to experience freedom as whole
persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship, & to expand concepts of
mission through participating in the global ministries of the church.
Local Goals
Spiritual
To minister to the needs of the church women & to encourage their growth to spiritual maturity.
Fellowship
To strengthen the bonds of friendship & support among women & equip them to serve others in the
church.
Outreach
To provide opportunities & encouragement to ministry in our community.
Please come and get involved in UMW today....This is a great way to meet the women of Trinity. Opportunities
include: Circles, Mom to Mom, Work Groups, Quilting, Fellowship and Bible study groups.
The opportunities are many and are indeed a blessing to those who participate. UMW raises funds for mission
projects. They also serve bereavement dinners, wedding receptions, cooking and serving luncheons or dinners.
If you would like to become involved in UMW activities and get to know other women, attend one of the
meetings or call the church office or send email for information.
